This summer, Paper Ave has been blessed to be a part of multiple weddings and displays, creating over 500 unique blooms! I've had the pleasure of knowing Stacy since my undergrad days at UCSD and was beyond excited when she asked to have my paper blooms at her and Jay's wedding.
Stacy requested a cascade bouquet and this was a really special bouquet for me to make. When we were going through the list of what flowers to include, Stacy requested the sampaguitas (national flower of the Philippines) and white lilies to be included in her bouquet as her own mom and (now) mother-in-law's bouquet used those flowers in their own bouquet respectively.
When we had a list of the flowers confirmed, I worked off of the fun color palette (teal, white, yellow and grey) that Stacy and Jay provided to work up a mock-up of the blooms that would be used.
The final ingredients for the bride and five of the bridesmaid bouquets included:
- Star lilies
- Peonies (large and small)
- Cherry Blossoms
Once everything was good to go, my busy hands were ready for work and below are the results! Thank you to Stacy and Jay for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your special day and thank you to Calli Duncan from Color&Cake Photography for the beautiful images!
